Pre-course work for participants
Looking at a range of thirty sited sculptures as a basis for discussion around broad themes
Exercises around additive work (modelling) and subtraction (carving) as a basis for discussion
Discussion around portraiture and the value of objective sight
Group project working co-operatively on portraiture with seated model
Advice on own small projects working with clay, wax, soft stone

Group portrait to be fired, mounted and delivered to group as part of the course

Can be run at your location (i.e. your home or a holiday location) or in West Sussex.
